In nuce: Outpost VFX has released a VFX breakdown for the fourth season of the sci-fi series Star Trek: Discovery. The Los Angeles and Montreal offices of Outpost VFX were involved in the VFXs, according to the video description. The other branches of the visual effects service provider are located in Bournemouth, London and Mumbai. Star Trek: Discovery is the sixth live-action film series set in the Star Trek universe – and the seventh Star Trek series ever. The series is set around ten years before the events of the original series centred around Captain Kirk, Mister Spock, Bones & Co.
